More than a year and a half ago, I first came across this blogpost ("What Happens When You Live Abroad") by Chelsea Fagan. She writes about moving abroad and about a feeling of belonging in more than one place. Consequentially, there is always a part of you that is far away from home.

More than two years after I first left Belgium, these words still articulate a feeling that perhaps will never entirely disappear (and that does not have to be a bad thing). I know the message resonates with many people who live abroad, and it is phrased so much nicer than I could ever put it to words, so I am re-posting it here.
